Get to know us

This year is hitting hard because my senior, Cody, and my bonus senior, Meshon, are the very last ones to leave the nest! I’m naturally energetic and outgoing, and my easy going parenting style has always worked as long as the boys followed the rules. Now, though I’m genuinely excited for them both, I’m an emotional wreck. I spent years driving them all over for baseball and being the crazy mom who’s always taking pictures, and I’m definitely going to have to adjust to that silence. The reality of it all crashed down a couple of weeks ago during Cody’s first college visit. Everything was fine until we reached the dorm rooms, and I absolutely lost it. The realization hit that this was the first of all the lasts. As a single mom, my life has revolved around these boys, and it’s bittersweet to see my baby and my bonus son go chase their dreams of playing college baseball.
